The '''Meloran Crisis''' was a worldwide phenomenon that began in 2358 LA when the ancient kraken [[Seaeater]] dealt a fatal blow to the [[Melora|goddess Melora]], causing the elemental forces of nature to be thrown out of balance. It manifested slowly at first, with subtle effects such as unseasonable weather, and eventually grew into a series of worldwide catastrophes, including the eruption of the dormant [[Blister]], the hyper-focusing of the [[Mosslight Hour]] on [[Antipode]], and the collapse of the [[Shatterlands|Tsandria Shatterlands]].
