'''Zao''' was the name of a [[Elf|drow]] sorceress and adventurer who, along with [[Calund Lavabelly]] and [[Rainbow After Rain]], battled [[Explictica Defilus]]. She later would help the [[Warriors of Faith]] on their quest to defeat the naga by reacquiring her [[Serpentsbane Orb]] from her [[tabaxi]] friend. She was a rare example of a drow choosing the path of good.

Zao succumbed to elven senescence in 1997 LA when she saw her homeland of Veil in ruins.
