Personality

Pjirrik was noted to be gregarious and eager, even among bronze dragons. He also had a staunch belief in individual freedom, and resented the Glavian Empire's repression of persons and cultures. This noble streak, coupled with his draconic tendencies toward dominance, caused him to unquestioningly appoint himself the protector of the mortals of Antipode. Their efforts to resist the Empire were better organized and spearheaded under Pjirrik's leadership.

For a dragon, Pjirrik was unusually impatient and curious. He was said to be "flitting", as Pjirrik's ally and legendary bard Zinrora Tyrros lovingly put it. It was this natural curiosity which got him involved in the affairs of mortals. His nobility, however, could not be denied even at the end, when he covered the escape of refugee ships from the massacre at Gold Mountain. Pjirrik bravely held off the primordial titan Seaeater long enough for several shiploads of refugees to escape, at the cost of his life.
