The Ophidian was one of the alter egos of Grand Magister Reneaus, a powerful sorcerer seeking lichdom in the 6th and 7th centuries of the Light Age. As Reneaus, the Ophidian orchestrated the construction of the Logos Vortex and brought about the downfall of the kingdom of Chernarus.
He was defeated on the River Styx by the Lone Wolves.
