Umbral ley line

The Umbral ley line was the name given to one of the lines of magical power that held the planet Echelon together. It ran from north to south directly opposite the Column (nautical longitude 180° W).

The Umbral ley line became a common starting and ending point for two-dimensional maps of the planet in the Light Age and beyond, as no major landmasses were on the Umbral.
