Deliria College of Glamour

The Deliria College of Glamour (occasionally misspelled as Glamor) or simply Deliria, was an organization that rose during the Light Age of Echelon. It was created after the composer, musician, and storyteller Dominique Deliria traveled into the Feywild to learn the secrets of magic, music, and dance from the Seelie fey. She eventually returned to the Material Plane in 1419 LA, and founded the Bardic college in the city of Aquidium.

Tenets of the College

Bards from the College of Glamour mastered their craft to delight and captivate others. For a Deliria graduate, beauty and performance were everything. Of all the bard colleges, none could match the legendary musical or mesmerizing dance performances of Deliria. Bards from the College of Glamour were regarded with awe and, occasionally, fear. Their eloquence was similarly unmatched, and their magic was used to enhance their already formidable charisma.

Deliria itself did not police the use of the skills taught at the college. Once a bard graduated from Deliria, they were free to do as they saw fit with their gifts. Many Glamour bards used their talents and skills heroically, gladdening the downtrodden and undermining oppression. Others were simply concerned with spreading beauty and joy anywhere they went without concern for heroic action; this was fairly in-line with Dominique Deliria's original vision and her Seelie influences. Some graduates of Deliria used the powers they gained for villainy, leeching off and even dominating entire communities in order to serve their own twisted versions of "beauty".

Notable members of the College of Glamour included the apty-named Antipodian tiefling Beauty, the villainous Sabine Phannara, and the legendary Zinrora Tyrros.
