The city-state, and later capitol, of Kerouet was a human city in the western Mainland. For centuries, it was the most populous and wealthy settlement in the west, and home to the seat of power of the kingdom of the same name. It was razed around 2300 BME by hobgoblins following the humans' defeat in a war against warlord Thuun Shatterbones.
