Druid

A druid was a primal guardian of nature, seen as an extension of nature's will in the multiverse. They took many forms throughout history, and usually were connected to a powerful wilderness spirit or a deity of nature, such as Avandra or Kord. A druid's relationship to the natural world was something akin to a knight with their liege lord; druids served nature, not the other way around.

Druids used skills and power bestowed by the forces of the natural world to preserve, protect, and strengthen it. Druids were most often elves, halflings, or humans, and occasionally tieflings or tabaxi, though the former's penchant for passion and the latter's penchant for wanderlust made initiation into druid circles difficult. A dragonborn's inherent desire for personal excellence and dwarven drive to "improve" upon nature generally made them poor candidates for druid circles, though there were exceptions.
