Emberwood

Emberwood was a town on the eastern edges of the Gaiak region of the Mainland. It was a logging community and home to Goldleaf Cathedral during its existence as Chernaran vassal. It was completely destroyed by the Logos Vortex, an arcane weapon of mass destruction, in 600 LA.

The Emberwood Scar

Besides the total annihilation of the town and the cathedral, latent energies and destructive tears in the Weave left a lasting impact on the area where Emberwood once stood. The so-called "Emberwood Scar" became a dangerous "hole" in the forest, where antimagic fields or other erratic spell effects occurred without warning or apparent cause.
