Veil (nation)

Veil was the name of both a city and an underground nation of drow. It warred throughout the 2nd millennium of the Light Age against the dwarven kingdom of Rowangga, finally defeating it in 1982 LA. While the Rowanggan dwarves were scattered mostly above ground, the dark elves of Veil began a decade of dominance of the Ruloi caves and the Veiled Road.

The citizens of Veil were utterly wiped out in 1995 LA when monsters sacked the city. Some speculated that the naga Explictica Defilus used the monsters to punish Veil for the actions of a rogue drow who stood against him.
