White Order

The White Order was an organization of paladin knights formed by Maximillian the White during the Dawn War. They were known by several names throughout the world's history; these paladins were also called White Knights, Solar Knights, or Knights Chevalier. The White Order was founded on the precepts of a sacred Oath of Devotion.

Tenets of the White Order

Though the exact wording of Oaths of Devotion differed depending on time and place, a paladin taking such an oath signaled that they were binding themselves to five general tenets:

1. Honesty, to never lie or cheat
2. Courage, to be brave in battle and in life
3. Compassion, to aid the weak and to show mercy with wisdom
4. Honor, to treat others with fairness and to do good
5. Duty, to mete out just punishment and to be responsible for one's actions
