Titans were ancient beings of incredible power whose strength, at their peak, rivaled that of the gods. They were defeated and nearly all destroyed in a three-way conflict between themselves, the good Celestials, and the Prime Evil.
Notable Titans
Though few titans (or subsequent mortal knowledge of their names) survived the First War, some managed to escape to Echelon and other planes of existence. Some notable titans included:
- The Tarrasque, a monstrous creature that appeared in Echelon only once before the Dark Age
- Seaeater, an ancient kraken prophesied to destroy the ocean, who eventually dealt a fatal wound to Melora before being annihilated at the end of the Light Age
- Charybdis, a bulbous sea monster trapped in the Whispering Timeline
- Mual-Tar, a colossal, immortal serpent imprisoned by chains fashioned by Moradin
