The Journey of Weeks was a colloquial name given to any voyage undertaken by a group or individual to the tabaxi homeland of Zatal (or vice versa) via an extensive cave system.
First Journey
The first recorded instance of anyone completing a voyage to Zatal through the Ruloi caves was in 1919 LA, when the dark elf sorceress Zao, the tabaxi rogue Rainbow After Rain, and the dwarf cleric Calund Lavabelly traveled through the caverns to find a way to counter the threat of the fallen paladin Alris Ocedius.
Second Journey
The return of Calund and Safira to their respective homelands of Rowangga and Veil were usually counted as a completion of the Journey of Weeks, even though they did not continue to the surface and Safira never traveled the Veiled Road to the dwarven lands again.
Third Journey
In 1995 LA, the third instance of a completed Journey of Weeks occurred (and the first after Calund Lavabelly gave it the moniker). The paladins Lady Rosamund, Druuv McCord, Ristine Jandreau, and Grundle of Rowangga all traversed the treacherous path to reach Zatal in hopes of acquiring the fabled Serpentsbane Orb.
