Acheron

Acheron was the lawful evil equivalent of Ysgard, an Outer Plane of infinite battlefields. It was the third layer of the Nine Hells, and an afterlife for non-good humans, dragonborn, orcs, hobgoblins, and countless others who died in wars. As on Ysgard, wars were fought between the myriad legions of spirits, resurrecting each day at full strength to fight again until the end of time. Unlike Ysgard, however, there was little joy to be had on Acheron beyond the glory of battle and the conquering of foes.

Acheron was the home of Bane, who was said to be training legions of the dead for the final war between the Celestials and the Prime Evils.
