The First Battle of the Seaeater was a name given to the first direct conflict between the heroes Undine, Zinrora Tyrros, and Saint, against the ancient titan Seaeater.

Location of the Battle

The exact coordinates of the sea battle between the kraken and the heroes was unknown, but it was assumed to be somewhere near the crossing of the Meridian ley line and the Leomund ley line in the Stardragon Sea.

Events Leading Up to the Battle

When Seaeater, a kraken from the dawn of time, was awakened in the Stardragon Sea in 2348 LA, it spelled doom for the people of the region, and perhaps the world. Having already destroyed the city of Aquidium, Seaeater was a clear and present danger to the region. A group of sailors aboard the ship Stardragon's Ruby had made a name for themselves in the archipelago, and hatched a desperate plan to defeat the kraken before it could make its war on the world.

In late 2348, Undine, Zinrora Tyrros, Saint, and Jacques Johnson led a group of mariners on a suicide mission. Knowing that they could not defeat the kraken in open combat, the plan was to use an ancient Thaedran artifact, the Bloodcharm, to banish Seaeater from the Material Plane. In the waning autumn of that year, the Stardragon's Ruby sailed into a fierce arcane storm, searching for the dreaded titan.
