Undine's First Acts

The events immediately following the end of the Meloran Crisis were known by mortals as Undine's First Acts.

Precursor to the Acts

After her apotheosis, Undine's miracles at the end of the Meloran Crisis ushered in a new era for mortalkind on Echelon. The Light Age was over, and the Epoch of Undine was declared. Two Solar angels, Champion and Meta, were dispatched to the most populated civilizations on the planet; Champion revealed the Epoch of Undine to Silvera, Glavia and at the Jaguar Gate in Zatal, while Meta announced it in the town squares of Calogero, Trigonon, Wophec, and Strongwater. Very few, if any, denied the apotheosis of Undine and the arrival of a new Age.

List of Acts

Undine performed several miracles at the very beginning of her godhood:

• She ended the Welkin Maelstrom, an arcane storm which had previously plagued Echelon's troposphere for nearly 400 years.
• She froze the ice-choked sea north of the Mainland. This effectively connected the continent of Pitharas with Axia Atis, the ice shelf surrounding the north pole. It also prevented sea travel north of Pitharas, which was already considered a dangerous endeavor.
• She caused the underground aquifers in the Midden Valley lowlands to burst, flooding the Shatterlands and creating the Great Shattered Lake.
• A powerful miracle severed the continent of Antipode at the tectonic level, forever splitting it into Northern Antipode and Southern Antipode.
• Perhaps most controversially, Undine caused a significant movement of the Spiral.
