The Night of Blood was the name given to an event in 1588 of the Light Age. It involved the brutal execution of the vast majority of the Kingdom of Dour's nobility, including the Lord Regent. The execution and assassination spree was said to have been spontaneous and, likely owing to the rapid movement of information through the aetherwave, carried out almost entirely in one 12-hour period.
