Great Racial War

The Destiny War, the Hate War, and the Great Racial War were all names given to similar interracial conflicts which embroiled parts of Echelon during the last days of the Ancient World. The wars erupted nearly simultaneously in different lands, pitting humans, elves, dwarves, dragonborn, tieflings, and githzerai as adversaries against one another. Under the ACS, historians agreed that the racial wars lasted somewhere between 400 BME and 200 ME, though the dates varied depending on the region in question.

The wars were resolved in different ways: in Almantha, a First Race bloc crushed all interracial discord under a militaristic campaign of unification; in the Stygian Lands, hopes for either a tiefling or githzerai empire were slowly ground over centuries of conflict into grudging isolationism; on the Mainland and Seven Isles, the wars ended with the signing of the Juriatas Accord.

The tabaxi and the denizens of Antipode did not feel the effects of these wars, and had no analogous conflicts at that point in history.
