Aegis

The Aegis was an order of warriors, hospitallers, ordained knights, and occasionally, paladins. It was founded by Ristine Jandreau, Lady Rosamund, and Druuv McCord in 1995 LA after the fall of the Knights of Mastermarch. It became an affiliate organization of the kingdoms of Trigonon and Rowangga around 2006 LA, and persisted for centuries thereafter.

The emblem of the Aegis was a white shield against a green-and-red background, reflecting the White Order, Green Order, and Red Order origins of its three founders. A standard bearing the emblem and the words "This area under protection of the Aegis" was a common sight in the civilized regions of Mastermarch, Stormchapel, and beyond.
