Green Order
The Green Order was an organization of paladin knights formed by Rillao the Green during the Dawn War. St. Rillao desired a world allowed to prosper in beauty and life, and she swore a solemn, ancient oath to defend the light. Rillao's Green Knights held ties to the Feywild, which was seen by the Order as an idealized (if chaotic) version of Echelon.
Green Order knights were often allies of druids.
Tenets of the Green Order
Unlike their counterparts in the White Order and Red Order, the wording of St. Rillao's oath of the ancients remained unchanged for millennia. The three central principles were simple:
- Kindle the Light. Through acts of mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, kindle the light of hope in the world, beating back despair and darkness.
- Shelter the Light. Where there is good, beauty, hope, and love, stand against the wickedness that would swallow it. Where life flourishes, stand courageously against the forces that would render it barren.
- Be the Light. Be a glorious beacon for all who live in despair. Delight in song, art, laughter, and beauty, for the light of joy shines forth in words and deeds.
