The Aeon was the name for the period of time directly affected by the Shattered Prophecy. It encompassed the years between the climactic battle of the Dawn War (c. 3000 BME) and the Centennial Hill prison revolt of 785 LA, marking the first and last emergence of disparate timelines.
Emergence of Timelines
- 3000 BME: the Grand Cross defeat the zarum in the Temple of Numbers during the Median Timeline. This locus also gave rise to the Red Timeline, in which the Grand Cross failed.
- 2960 BME: the great tower of Parec Bitan is attacked by tieflings in the Median Timeline. It was transported to the pocket dimension of the Whispering Valley, initiating the Whispering Timeline.
- 300 BME: the Sovereign Seven use the Gnomon Grimoire in an attempt to drain the world of magic. In the Median Timeline, the spell backfired and the Seven were destroyed. The Blue Timeline was the result of their success.
- 751 ME, Blue Timeline: Kithanya Maruk, one of the Sovereign Seven, is reinserted into time via the future. Failing to account for the temporal mechanics of the Gnomon Grimoire, she became chronologically retroactivated to a young child. Altaya's Loop begins.
- 847 ME: the dragon Keela is killed by Green Company. This locus also gave rise to the Green Timeline, in which Green Company failed.
- 855 ME: The Determined lead the world in the Ultima War. This locus also gave rise to Vecna's Timeline, in which the Determined failed.
- 207 DA: the Nullwreckers defeat Morovec the illithid. This locus also gave rise to the Black Timeline, in which the Nullwreckers failed.
- 600 LA: the kingdom of Chernarus uses the Logos Vortex to destroy the town of Emberwood. The Lone Wolves escape. This locus also gave rise to the Steel Timeline, in which the Lone Wolves are killed.
- 785 LA: Centennial Hill experiences a prison revolt, and several dangerous convicts escape. This locus also gave rise to the Steel Timeline, in which the prisoners do not escape.
